Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and can enter into a binding agreement.

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.
• Notify us immediately at hello@impactoverincome.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

You agree not to:

• Violate any law or the rights of others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass security controls.
• Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the Service.
• Access data belonging to another user or household without permission.
• Use the Service to send spam or unlawful communications.

Faithful Servant is a personal budgeting and tracking tool. It is not a bank, broker-dealer, investment adviser, tax adviser, or financial planner. Nothing in the Service constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. You are responsible for your own financial decisions and should consult a qualified professional where appropriate.

If you connect a financial institution through our aggregation partner (e.g., Plaid), your use of that connection is also subject to that partner's terms and privacy policy. Balances and transactions surfaced from a connected institution may be delayed or inaccurate; always verify important figures directly with your bank.

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service and to make it available to other members of your household as you direct.

When you invite another person to your household, information you have entered in that household becomes visible to them. Only invite people you trust. You can revoke pending invitations at any time in Settings.

Some features may be offered free of charge; others may require a paid subscription. Pricing and billing terms, if any, will be presented in the app before you are charged. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

The Service relies on third-party providers for hosting, database, email delivery, authentication, and optional bank aggregation. We are not responsible for third-party services or their availability, and your use of those services is subject to their terms.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create risk for other users, or if we are required to do so by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law).

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will always be accurate or preserved.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Impact Over Income and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Impact Over Income from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, Your Content, or your breach of these Terms.

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to the Terms, we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Impact Over Income is organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located there, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
